In early 2018, Mpire group has signed the distribution agreement with Beiqi Foton Motor for the distributor of View C2 Panel Van (4.8 meters), CS2L 18 seater Window Van (6 meters) and Foton-Daimler ESTA and EST Supertruck.

Founded on August 28, 1996, FOTON manufactures light and heavy-duty trucks, agricultural tractors, vans, passenger vehicles and various other machinery. The biggest milestone for Beiqi Foton is the 50:50 joint venture with Daimler AG named as Beijing Foton Daimler Automobile Co., Ltd which jointly developed the Foton-Daimler “super-truck”. Another milestone is the creation of 50:50 joint venture between Foton and Cummins Inc Foton Cummins Engine Cimpany to produce diesel engine for most of the Foton models.

FOTON recognizes the marketing strength of Mpire group, thus Foton allows Mpire to distribute its 2 latest View variants in Malaysia, namely the C2 panel van and CS2L 18 seater window van. CS2L. C2 is powered by famous Isuzu 2.5 turbo diesel engine whilst CS2L is powered by powerful Cummins ISF 2.8 diesel engine. View CS2L is fitted with latest features such as Electronic Control Unit (“ECU”) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (“EGR”) allowing the window van to operate with less carbon footprint. The CS2L window van also equipped with BOSCH’s four-channel ABS + EBD, 3H high-strength body, strong anti-collision bars, front and rear bumpers, dual airbags, one collapsible steering column and three-point seat belts. make it one of the safest van in the domestic market.

The Foton Daimler ESTA is also known as the Energy Super Truck which equipped with the new generation of Foton-Cummins ISG. The truck is built based on three core technologies namely new energy, internet of vehicles and automatic transmission. As such EST-A Energy Super Truck is built with the concept of increasing the fuel efficiency through its High Torque and Low RPM technology. The aim is to realize 30% decrease of fuel consumption, 30% decrease of carbon emission, and 70% increase of overall freight transport efficiency.

Therefore, Mpire has purchased more than RM1million spare parts from FOTON even before trucks are on the road, just to ensure no Vehicle off road or “VOR” and maximize truck usage. As compared to formerly, customers suffered from getting replacement of spare parts, which is one of the biggest hurdle that lead customers unwilling to purchase the China truck although the China trucks are much better now in terms of build quality, technological advancement and also improve in durability.

To further enhance customer satisfaction, Mpire group has launched its toll free number 1300-22-3399 which will start operation on 1st January 2019 for its 24/7 off road rescue team, by forming a strategic alliance with a well-known and reliable company to manage its 24/7 customer’s emergency service and will launch its own apps in few weeks in order to create the flexibility and convenient to the truck and van drivers to book for service. The apps also inclusive of a panic button with GPS location for emergency and break down.
