20 lucky customers won prizes valued at approximately RM370,000 during the grand final draw. Among them were Tasco Berhad and Teck & Guan Metal Finishing Sdn Bhd which walked away with the second and third place prizes of holiday vouchers worth RM20,000 and RM10,000 respectively.
During two earlier rounds of the FUSO Diamond mini-draws held in April and September 2014, a total of 26 FUSO customers won prizes worth a total of RM130,000. Throughout 2014, a total of 2288 customers participated in the contest.
Held at the Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa, the grand finale awards and lou sang dinner was attended by 450 people, which included both customers and dealers. The evening also saw entertainment of sorts which included Dato’ Joey Yap and world famous Kun Seng Keng Lion Dance troupe. There were also raffles of gratitude that night which saw some of the lucky attendees winning Mercedes-Benz exclusive watches.
“2014 was a consistent year for FUSO. Together with our nationwide network, we recorded sustained sales of above 2,000 units throughout the year. With our continued after-sales support to our customers, we look forward to 2015 with great enthusiasm,” added Yee.
Due to the overwhelming response received for the 2014 FUSO Diamond reward contest, the second consecutive Diamond FUSO contest will begin tentatively in June 2015 with its mini-draw. This will be followed by a grand-final draw tentatively in December 2015. FUSO truck owners registered between the 1st of December 2014 to the 30th of November 2015 are eligible to win a Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 and RM 250,000 worth of prizes.
