The Objective
The objective of the project is to improve awareness on Road Safety and Eco Driving issues among the logistics industry in Malaysia. Indicators for progress and success are among others:
1. In the first year after the logistics companies have undergone road safety training, the number of incidents occurred by the drivers employed by these companies have decreased on average by at least 10% annually.
2. At least 20 other Malaysian logistics companies have requested to participate in road safety training delivered by TÜV Rheinland Malaysia. In each training at least 10 drivers per company will be participating.
In two sessions drivers were trained in both, theory and practical applications. During a three-day theory session, topics such as technical knowledge on braking, safe distance as well as presentation skills were covered.
Your trainer
Having completed their training, there are now some 15 driver trainers ready to assist you with training your drivers. The training administered will be according to the TUEV program and is certified and recognised. We have selected three drivers for this issue to present them to you with their complete profile. You may contact them or Asian Trucker Drivers Club in order to schedule your training sessions.
