Long tradition
The competition dates back to 1939 when Shell Oil Company employees in the USA made a friendly wager over who could travel furthest on the same amount of fuel. Since then it has expanded to two more continents, includes energy types ranging from biofuel to electricity, and sparks passionate debate around the future of energy and mobility.
Focus on key industry
As the commercial vehicle business is an important one, this year, Shell is offering a small selection of transport and logistics media in Asia the chance to interview some of its foremost experts on the current and future innovations shaping fuel management. Six so called "Hot Seat Topics" are being headed by top experts in their respective fields to impart knowledge and provide insights into what the company is planning to address current and future needs of the trucking and transport industry.
