KAYEL Tyres wins International ‘Recircle Awards’ Spirt of Retread Award
KAYEL Tyres has won the international Recircle Award for the ‘Spirit of Retreading’.
The Recircle Awards are a new global awrds designed to recognise the contribution of companies and individuals within the tyre manufacturing, retreading and recycling industries towards the Circular Economy.
With nominees from across the globe, KAYEL Tyres was nominated as the winner for the ‘Spirit of Retread’ award, In recognition of a particularly noteworthy contribution to the retreading industry by a mid-sized, small or regional retreaders. With contenders from South Africa, USA and Europe, KAYEL Tyres was proud to be the only Malaysian winner in any of the award categories.
This award marks the recognition of the hard work and dedication that has gone into making our retreads the highest quality, safest retreads in Malaysia. Alongside the local market, KAYEL Tyres exports to Australia and is the outsource retread process provider for a number of top global tyre manufacturers. We continue to expand on both the quality and safety of our tyres, recently having also been awarded 'E' Mark status for our tyres, meaning they are road-legal across Europe and available for export.
KAYEL Tyres hopes to keep bringing up the reputation of the retread tyre industry though a MYR 3million investment in the continual improvement of our technical and practical systems that allow us to produce up to 1 000 pieces of retread per day in our fully automated factory based just outside of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
