KL Hop-On Hop-off bus in September 2018 introduced a new garden route that included tourist attraction hotspots such as Little India, National Museum and the National Palace amongst many others. Operator, Elang Wah Sdn Bhd said the new route has proven to be a popular choice for those who prefer a more nature-orientated tour.

Mohd Fazrudi B. Mohd Rohdzi, Head of Operation and Technical at Elang Wah said that the introduction of the new route allowed the company to cater to different preferences of their customers. “Some customers opt for both routes as the Hop-On Hop-Off bus is an easy and convenient way to get around a place unfamiliar to them. It allows them to get a gist of the landscape and they can explore further if they are interested in a certain attraction” he said.

Fazrudi further added that intervals between buses are kept at a maximum of 30 minutes. “We try to keep the intervals between 20-30 minutes but traffic can be quite unpredictable at times. We constantly track and communicate with our crew aboard the bus in order to maintain a short waiting time. With a fleet of 16 buses, I am sure we can accommodate to any unpredictable accidents and respond accordingly” he concluded.

The Scania K250UB 4x2 and K270UB 4x2 buses can sit up to 60 people at any given time. Designed for comfort, the rigid city buses provide a comfortable ride for passengers on board.
